Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

    Rob Simmons- what a dropkick.

In 53 minutes: 2 runs for a total gain of 2 metres, hit 2 rucks, one turnover.

Sharpie does more than that in 10 minutes. I know that stats aren't the be all and end all but wake up Robbie.

Chuck Norris has the greatest Poker-Face of all time. He won the 1983 World Series of Poker, despite holding only a Joker, a Get out of Jail Free Monopoly card, a 2 of clubs, 7 of spades and a green #4 card from the game Uno.

In this modern world of handing out Test Caps like lollipops, I don't understand why we had four unused bench warmers, surely with ten to go and nothing left to salvage you would test them out against the #1 Test team...

From those stats, apart from his running (against a possibly tiring ABs team) Higginbotham doesn't offer more than McCalman, despite his continual spruiking from the commentators.

Also, are those tackles made or attempted? Because it looks like Elsom attempted 9 tackles and missed on 6 of them!

Admittedly Elsom did well on the rucks, hitting more than Kepu, Alexander and Simmons combined. Moore must be looking at his props and asking what the f*ck they thought they were doing on the pitch.

I think the thing those stats don't reflect is the effectiveness of each measure/player. Elsom's hit ups were lackluster and led to turnovers, whether accredited to him or not. As I recall, the Blacks had already made their bench changes prior to Higginbotham coming on, so the tiring legs argument isn't as strong as if it was vice versa, though perhaps a small factor. I think the difference was though that the other players seemed to lift when they saw go forward rather than solely analysing the individual, it was the rub-off factor which was as inspiring.

At the end of the day we weren't even in the same league as the ABs, it was only 3 tries - 2 & OC missed 3 kicks, but we never looked like winning.
