Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.
I bet the players are keen for cheerleaders, past anaology(Dallas Cowboys) suggests they benifit the most. I did think the Bulls cheerleaders added to the s14 finals coverage
I'll bet you could get a couple of them to go to TWF Awards night. It would be great publicity for the site. Coach has worked very hard on TWF, he deserves to have a few cheerleaders once or twice a year.
Im with Larry on this one for a change.
the punters friend..... stick with me and you will be wearing

Where is Jess when we need her!
I am strongly against cheerleaders. If you want to go see girls wearing no clothes prancing around, go to a porno shop and get a DVD as they don't belong at a rugby game. What does it add to the atmosphere? They are a distraction. They bring nothing to our game. The force don't NEED silly young women in skimpy clothing to get our crowds moving and we are just fine without them. The game of rugby union should be enough to entertain people for the 80 minutes of the game. At half time, you can't see the cheerleaders if you are off buying beer. No thankyou!
A kick in this game is like a rather nasty alcoholic shooter, only as good as it's chaser...

No need to get so upset about this one, robyn. Some here might have a lend of you.
There are plenty of cheer squads that are nothing like what you describe. The WA Reds will likely have an example tomorrow at MES. It's a RugbyWA poll and I doubt they'd do anything offensive with Emirates as a major sponsor.
