Yeah, it wasn't a great tackle, he CAN be suspended, but he's proven to be a very clean player. I would think that counts for a lot, and he didn't dump Dan Carter so he should be OK. Of course, you never know with tribunals and the trend has seemed to err on the side of harshness with tip tackles.

There were some bad calls eg, blatant joining from side in first half which Jeff Wilson commented on. IIRC we conceded a penalty shortly after.

ref didnt even get the card right.
Ben should have been given a red for that and it would have been all over.

i think he still would have been cited though given it was in the 73rd minute.
he knew he was in trouble as soon as it happened though. saving grace may be that he tried to make it better, and bail out of the tackle.

Yes, we kept giving away penalties, which the landers got away with. A few blatants cleanouts from 90 degrees, one bloke half lifting Mathewson, and other rubbish like that was apalling. But, we won!
