The Wallabies won 5 out of 13 line-outs! 5 from 13! At what point do you say "Look lads, this isn't working, lets throw it to the prop at the front. We might not get great ball, but we'll have the ball."
Also, considering the tackle stats; at the end of the 1st half the stats were put up that said Australia had made 80 tackles and missed 8; the All Blacks had made 55 tackles and missed 10.
Assuming the ESPN data was the same at half-time, the 2nd half saw the All Blacks miss only 3 tackles from 63, while the Wallabies made 13 tackles from 46.

Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
pRAvda does the reporting on anything Wallabies related
The long sobs of autumn's violins wound my heart with a monotonous languor
[QUOTE=andrewg;458654]This is Alan Jones' breakfast beat-up BEFORE Bled 1.
AJ was already raising concerns about the lineout.

I'm really interested to hear his wrap-up AFTER Ble
Did Alan jones say anything this morning?
[QUOTE=Jules;458670] Yes but nothing that is new to add then what has been said on other forums. The Wallabies played well in the first half but like the rest of us could tell they were gassed and the second half they didn't show up. Questioned their fitness. Two years in a row they have had fitness problems. Can't do that next year as the Springboks found it in 2015. Half of their squad failed June fitness tests, didn't win any of their 4 Nations games so went in to the first RWC game after a fitness crash course and we know what happened there.

I guess in the current climate, where you can get away with anything if you have ver been a banking executive, he can't be bothered
LOL - no one's even bothered starting a Bled 2 thread so just thought I'd paste it here - maybe Cheika is dead man walking & has lost the changeroom at RA Boardroom at last! However like the useless clowns they are, they'll lurch into another train wreck scenario. Am so upset - not.

Was it my imagination, or did the Wallabies look a little less muddled and chaotic in dealing with deep clearing kicks from the All Blacks with a specialist full-back playing in the 15 jersey?
Didn't stop the one-way traffic of running rugby, but as the old adage goes: "Everyone blames the full-back for not covering the 3-on-1 overlap and stopping the try and forgets the 14 other useless buggers trailing along 40 yards behind the play."
