Come on Zed, get with the programme!![]()
I got the job! I got the job!
It's a nothing, buy some time, bureaucratic statement.
C'mon, Vern. It should have been announced by now.
As things go, the Board seems to have stuffed up Chieka's requests, while focusing on the one candidate and pissing the others off.
They had better have a plan B. This management is farcical and incompetent, and would not be accepted in any other organisation.
I doubt that they are holding back the announcement for the fun of it.
Obviously negotiations are taking place and they are playing their cards close to their chest, good on them.
They would be just as keen as us to have a deal signed and sorted a.s.a.p.
I'm happy to give them the time they need to get it right.
At least they have put out a statement telling us something.
Go The Force!
Was just listening to 6PR on the way to work and they were talking about the Forces coaching issues. The guy reckoned that Cheika had agreed to terms with the force and came to Perth to sign the contract but for some reason at the last minute pulled out. I wonder what spooked him?

“Everyone knows whether it’s rugby, politics or whatever, front-rowers should rule the world, so to have a hooker at the helm makes sense,” Nathan Charles Western Force & Wallabies Hooker.
Maybe they didn't send a car to the airport for him!

Well now that they have issued a statement I will sit back and wait to see what occures.
Lets hope they keep us informed and that things don't go on to long.
Just get it right this time Vern!
May the FORCE be with you!

We need to support our RugbyWA directors - we ( Community Rugby, Life members etc) put them there. However I really hope that, what is learnt from this saga is that the whole community needs to look at re-building confidence, support and results.
Prospective coaches should be banging down the door to be handed the reins of our team - Players should be fighting to stay and play in our comp. There should be a waiting list for corporate sponsors and boxes.
We gotta stop blaming the ARU and Eastern States for our woes and succeed in spite of them - F&%k WA's business community has done that, even the Pollies flip the bird every now and again to 'berra. Weagles and Dorkers don't blame the Vics for their problems, and so on.
Be good to see a plan for the next 10 - 15 years. No more talkfests - Directors of WA - come up with 3 business plans, you guys argue the toss about which one to proceed with, then direct RugbyWA, the Force and Community Rugby in the course you have chosen - you're elected to lead....lead, delegate bite size chunks of the plan to be achieved and within a timeline. No more tail wagging the dog.
Feel secure in the knowledge we all know each of you have the absolute best interests of RugbyWA, the Force and Community Rugby at heart and we know each of you work your backsides off for Rugby in WA.
