The line up has the Deans touch to it.
Looking forward to seeing how it all gels together, mind you channel Seven doesn't think a international match is worth showing live in WA .

A kick in this game is like a rather nasty alcoholic shooter, only as good as it's chaser...

good to see Sheps get his first run on, still think Pec better on the bench then Baxter though.
AAC is a utility back, he can play full back but not very good...although the same could be said about his other positions.
Cordingley should be put out to pasture....he's the past (not even!) and definitely not the future at #9.
Unfortunately it seems that the NSW committee strength is still at play with the selection of a certain Lote at #11. The muppet has done nothing for at least 2 seasons and the only reason why I can fathom he's still being selected is that the ARU doesn't want to lose face by actively dropping him.
CHEERLEADERS ROCK!!!
Cooper could play it. So could Turkey if we get desperate. Also I recall a couple weeks ago some idiot reporter (Wayne Smith perhaps) wrote that Hynes should be the pick at fullback. Now I called him an idiot at the time, and still think that way, because obviously Shepherd is the right choice. But, for someone to have written it you would imagine that the guy could at least potentially play the position in an emergency.
Lote is pretty good. Makes a lot of yards, breaks tackles etc, offloads often. More mungo's are needed. Maybe Inglis or Folau? Brett Stewart would be good.

Is he useful? Sure. But "Makes a lot of yards, breaks tackles etc, offloads often" is the job description of a back rower or centre, not a winger. What is missing after all those yards and breaks is tries.
I personally think he spend too much time trying to get involved and then running sideways. What I don't see him doing that often is what he is ideally suited for - stay on the wing, wait for the ball, and then run straight over the top of anyone between him and the line! He should be all about staying on his feet and demolishing the opposition, otherwise they should either use someone smaller and more nimble to run around the opposition or look to Ratu to do Lote's job better.
As an aside, who thinks we will be playing a 32 year old winger in 2011?

For mind, Lote chases the ball inside too often, leaving us with a narrow formation across the park in attack. We need to play full width, spread the defenders to create holes in the wall for Mortlock, Palu, Smith, Elsom to hit up and create space for Gits, Barnes, Burgess to dart from early phase rucks.
