De centres is a problem for me Ted. Tom Carter is a petulant shit and I wouldn't want to see him in any color other than baby blue. Julian Huxley is too old to be a truly effective ten.

I'm pretty sure we'd never have the cash to buy Both a 10 and a 12 (what with everything else we need) so I'd be looking to build a good 9-10 combination (if the Genia deal is finalized) or buy somebody who can cope at both. It's inevitable, given limited funds, that Ben Seymour or Kyle Godwin will play one of those spots next year anyway.

Look what is around at 12 in all teams.
Reds - a variety of names, Mike Harris or Sam Lane currently
Tahs - Tom Carter......see above
Brums - Christian Leiliifano or Matty Toomua, I was talking up Toomua for a bit, but injury might kill him off
Rebels - do we really want Judas back?

If you add the Aussie number tens to the list, then Quade, Kurtley and Berrick would be added to the list......all in all a limited talent pool, go for Goosen on a development contract, and/or shoot for a bargain out of Matty Toomua, Sam Lane or Mike Harris.

Brocke James is a liability gives penalties away all the time. The lions seem to be using him as an impact player. Look like he is at the end of his playing life. 5 years ago yes but not now.

Remember, if we only buy one, we're pretty much stuck with Seymour, Godwin Dellit or Sidey at 12..... And either Seymour or Godwin as reserve 10. That would change the decision for many.

For mine, I think we need to get away from predictable, crash-ball centres, so either use what we've got (Seymour, Godwin or Mafi) at 12 and buy somebody for 10 who can make them look good or develop Seymour and Godwin into competitive 10s and buy somebody good for 12.

Love to see Rod Davies come to the force i think we could get him easy and if Sharpie wont go again Mark Chisolm plenty of expirience.

If the Force spend a penny on Davies, it will be too much. Like several Reds players, he was seriously overrated. Anyone recall his Wallaby debut vs. Samoa last year? Not pretty.
