According to Fox Sports we have a new coach too....
FORCE v LIONS in Perth, Saturday 9.55pm AEST
INJURIES have forced Force coach David Berrie to ring the changes for Saturday’s home game against the Lions at nib Stadium.
Despite the injuries the team does not look as bad as I was expecting. The front row and back row and still very strong and we have quality centres. The depth is obviously going to be an issue and if we get an injury to an outside back then that will be an issue with 2 regular number ten's on the bench (Burton and Lance can cover a few positions).
Would have thought Coleman or Masirewa may have been a better option. Injured?
I wonder why Wessels doesn't have Burton, Lance or Grant at fullback and one of them at flyhalf. Is Brache a fullback?
Any inside info on Verity-Amm, Short and Vui? Vui did well in the NPC from memory....
Given the injuries we have, not a bad side to put on the park...
Great reward for some solid form in Premier Grade for Verity-Amm, also another tick for the Future Force.
Brache owes us a performance after last weeks fumbles.
Forwards look good with plenty of workers in there, result will depend on what the backs do with the ball.
Gunny would be a better pick at fullback than Brache...
Brache has been fragile under the high ball hes going to be the Lions target all night 😡😡😕
I think Masiwera did his ankle last weekend in club rugby.
Well at least the lions are without Jaco Kriel and Van Renseberg, who are two of their best players also.
Surely Lance at fullback would be a much better option than Brache?!
I hope he's been training all week under the high ball. It seems too risky though.
He had feet for hands against the Chiefs.
As usual, I thought brache was a bit outclassed by the challenge last week. As usual he gave it everything he had, when you're working that far above what your body is capable of, mistakes will occur.
As usual, he never shirked the work, never stopped pumping up the guys around him, never dropped his head.
As usual, I thought he added value to the team through his attitude even though hi abilities weren't quite up to the standard.
I have noticed a reloading improvement in his capabilities this year, so I think he's a great bloke to have in the club. If our first 15 are fit, he doesn't make the team, but when we have injuries in key positions, he's a good option.
I'd still have him at 13, but I've never seen him play fullback, so maybe Dave knows something we dont
C'mon the![]()

Lions 10- Faf? & Jantjies are also pretty handy players, hope the Force keep those 2 wrapped up.
Jantjies tore us a new one last time if I remember right
