You should all be ashamed to call yourselves Force fans
Pek Cowan anybody?
Maybe he's injured?

I am glad that Guy Shepherdson has gone to QLD. He may blossom under the tutelage of the very capable scrummager Link. He is a massive unit and just needs to harden up a bit. He may be a regular starter for the Reds although the emergence of Slipper has thrown the cat amongst the pigeons.
Australian rugby has never had this many props. It's great. There isn't a world class tighthead amongst them though.
We should take every prop in the country and request some extra midweek games where our props can get schooled in the mud, belting rain and sleet against very large, very ugly poms who have no teeth and smell very bad.
Now in my moleskin trousers and my Williams boots
Aboard an outlaw as he leaves the chutes
In my goose neck spurs I rake their fiery hide
And the girls all shouting around the ringside
Oh he's the Fulla from Cunnamulla
Yeah he's the Cunnamulla Fulla
I would like to see them exclude Sharpie from the Sping tour.
He's played a lot of hard rugby this year and the rest would probably do him good.
When he missed the EOYT last year and did pre-season with the Force it seemed to revitalise him for the 2010 season.
Next year is going to be huge - a longer Super season, tri-nations and world cup.
Sharpie is not getting any younger and giving his body a decent rest between now and then would improve his longevity and be beneficial in the long run to both the Force and the Wallabies.
I would also like to see them do the same with Rocky, a decent break from rugby might be what he needs leading into a world cup year.
I doubt though that Dingo would be prepared to leave these two behind... what do you guys think?
I agree
Lets do what those northerners have been doing to us for a decade.........run out our B team to get experience
We need to start winning tets matches though. It is a young team. lets just go and kick their arse
Controversy corner
Leaving Sharpe behind would allow Deans to look at other, younger locks. I think Sharpe is secure of his position in the squad, so he could ask Deans for permission to miss the spring tour to work with his new coach and a team which finished the Super 14 in 13th place.
Rocky is less secure of his place as the younger players for his position are already knocking on the door. He may feel that if he misses the spring tour he isn't assured of coming straight back (although I'd definately have him in the squad).
Sharpie deserves the spot. A tour is about more than blooding the young pups. They also need an experienced campaigner to show them the ropes at that level. I assume Vickerman isn't eligible and Horwill is still recovering, so Sharpie's the only option.
He doesn't necessarily have to play 80 minutes each week, but he has to tour!

Nice idea, but let's not forget what an appreciable chunk match payments are of their earnings...
He has kiddies, I'm sure he wants to see them sometime. Surely.
Vickerman would be as eligible this year as Rocky was last year wouldn't he?
"Bloody oath we did!"
