I would suspect the criticism is for precisely that. I don't see a lot of him. On one level that's a really good thing, I don't see him playing like Hooper, seagull ing out on the wing looking for glory. I don't see him playing like Simmons, dining with the ball and throwing dumb cheap shots in front of the ref, but I haven't noticed him like I noticed sharpie either... Maybe that's just my natural bias because of his heritage. I guess I have no real objection to him continuing, I just can't clearly remember thinking "shit Kane Douglas is playing well tofay"

Incredible finish in the Rams v Qld Country game. 89th min penalty try to the Rams to win in the biggest comeback of the year! 89th min, you read correct.
Gotta feel sorry for the bloke who won a turnover for Qld right on his goal line after about 5 mins extra time; then had a brain explosion and threw the ball into touch.

Still, he's been in union a few years now, why hasn't he learnt/being told the laws of rugby? Oh wait he played for Richard Graham, enuff said.
I am watching the Brisbane city V the rays and Can sheppard is commentating and said this guy Isi Naisarani has been signed by the Western Force .. I do remember someone mentioning it before and Cam reckons he's a very good find
From the Reds Rugby website:
"Standing at 195cm and weighing 110kg, 21-year-old the Fijian powerhouse Isireli Naisarani has been a destructive force for Souths all season. His powerful ball carrying has netted the loose forward nine tries and set up countless more for his team. A quiet and humble person off the field, Naisarani becomes the embodiment of energy and competitiveness when he takes the field."
If we have signed him, he could be a useful addition, playing either 6 or 8. We have Cottrell, Hodgson & McCalman as starters and RHP (a 5/6), Stander (7), Hardwick (6/7), Koketa (7), and hopefully Havilli (5/6/8/11!) so Naisarani could be a project and wouldn't have to step up right away; but I think we might be short on cover for McCalman who's style of play means he does pick up knocks.
Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
I think the Force need to sign Sam Figg as a no7 because with the backline we appear to be getting, we need a fast ball handling loosie to carry on movements
Big upset in the NRC with Qld Country knocking off NSW Country 40 - 38.
Rays throw a wrecking ball through the Vikings in the first half to run away 58-14 winners. Jooste had an absolute shocker getting dragged at the half. Alex Horan son of Tim made his debut and gave the Vikings more direction in attack.
Watched the game for two reason.
1. IRAE SIMONE and gee he is bloody good, has come out of Rabbitohs under 20's. All clubs should be lining up to get him in, a big ball carrying 12 with great offloads, passing game and running lines.
2. Nick Jooste Agree with you Kalahard did himself no favours and didn't seem to be adding anything to the Vikings. Is he just off form, has anyone else watched him this season?
Generally speaking you aren’t learning much if your lips are moving!!!
Second time I've seen Nick this year. both times the same from my point of view
