Wests Scarborough 1st Grade juggernaut has played finals rugby each and every year since its inception and continues this remarkable feat yet again this season and unbelievably it's still rolling on and as an added little circle jerk for the masses Wests actually hold the record for the current longest unbroken finals record.

Word of a French invasion on the beaches of Cottesloe is leaking through
Was just checking out the fixtures on RugbyWA and had a couple of points/questions:
1) It looks like they have changed the finals from 3 weeks to 2 weeks, personally I prefer it.
2) There are only 4 competitions showing on the website - Premier, Reserve, Championship A and Championship B. Is this it or will there be another lower social type grade, given that some clubs have 5 or 6 teams?
3) Looks like there will be a lot more travelling for 3rd and 4th grade clubs as they will now be playing teams like Bunbury, Mandurah, Southern Lions, Swan Suburbs, Joondalup etc Hopefully this doesn't affect playing numbers as the less committed players tend to disappear when these games crop up
4) I work out that for my club there will be 4 weeks out of 18 where 3rd and 4th grade are playing at a different ground to 1st and 2nd grade. This is not ideal but I guess this couldn't be helped with the new system.
