Someone mentioned that they needed to see it in the flesh.
After my initial impressions with this years wallabies jerseys on screen & IRL, I'm gonna go with that before I break my keyboard complaining about it.

The players helped design it; there's your problem!
The Western Force has unveiled their playing strip for the 2016 Super Rugby competition.

The jersey, an evolution of the franchise's 10th season jersey, features a number of high performance features, making it the toughest, lightest and most technically sophisticated and advanced jersey in the franchise's history.

Representative Western Force players were again involved in the design process, with the reinforced iconic black swan returning to the front of the jersey, while the gold collar trim - linking back to the traditional state colours of Western Australia, where rugby has been played in the state for more than 120 years - has been maintained.

Western Force captain, Matt Hodgson, who was involved in the design process, said it's fantastic to have a jersey that addresses the team's performance and representational needs so comprehensively.

"It's an honour to pull on a Force jersey at any occasion, but this jersey is particularly exciting," he said.

"Most importantly, it's a strong statement about our franchise and the people we want to represent. The support we get from our Sea of Blue is second-to-none, and ensuring that the jersey maintains the strong tie to them as well as linking back to our home in Western Australia is really important to us.

"As performance wear it's very much at the cutting edge. In recent years the jersey has evolved from a top that simply determined which team you were playing for, to a garment that can make a significant contribution to the performance of an athlete. As a player, to know that your jersey is at the forefront of this technology is really exciting.

"The new range of kit is really ‘fast' in how it looks but also really functional. The feedback from the boys has been very positive - particularly around the new basketball singlet - and I hope that our supporters really like it all as well."
