Well Deans is giving Pocock a clear message "take you opportunities or Waugh will be back..."

I'm looking forward to the first match....

That's the good thing about Aussie Bob, he doesn't look solely at the NSWRU as his sole selection for wallaby spots as has happened for the last 100 years.

Not sure about his Aussie contract but I'd say he'll say stick it up your jumper and chase the dollars in Europe, he'll get snapped up pretty quick.

Pocock is just younger and old Bob is looking to set up and gel a team together for 2011. No point keeping old warhorses in a squad that really needs to be ready as a team for the next RWC.

I agree... But the old guard handing over to the new guard makes a strong Wallabies...

I don't know. It might be tough competing with someone ten years younger, but he is only 30, not dead. He's 15 months older than Richie McCaw - anyone expect that he won't be at the RWC?

Can't wait for the baa baa's game, Waugh used to line Pocock up in Waratahs V Force games.

Waugh will spend 80 minutes trying take out Pocock.
