Add Gus Cotteral who form my understanding, as one of the last to go over was being paid less than our Future Force players are. Put him way up the list as well.
They are only contracts remember, and they mean sweet FA, and if the Rebels can see a chance to "release" some of these guys to come back home so they can eventually prove in some way that they are actually under this mysterious cap, then I'm sure they will set them free.

Sorry for Harry Scoble :-(
Proudly Western Australian; Proudly supporting Western Australian rugby
Richie Arnold and RHP are both in Japan (Yamaha and Toshiba respectively). I think that they've changed their season so that it finishes before Christmas; should allow a number of players to get gigs in GRR, either with the Force or another side: Sam Talaki, Caderyn Neville, Richie Arnold, Sean McMahon, RHP, Ed Quirk, Matt Giteau, Christian Leali'ifano, Mike Harris, Chris Kuridrani & Aiden Toua are all up there.
Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
Which is all well and good, except I can hardly care about who is playing for the Force other than to hope it prioritises local players over blow-ins. I have no doubt the Force can put a team on the field, but what is going to determine first impressions and maybe as much as the first ten years worth of outcomes from the comp are the selections for the other teams. This comes out looking uncompetitive or second rate, that will be it pigeonholed in the minds of fans, sponsors and broadcasters and it will be a long hard grind up from there.
Marquees are icing, but what will determine this comp are the middle level senior players in each squad. I hope there is a lot of time and assistance being applied to making those both competent and credible. Then focus can turn to development, which will determine the next ten years.
Totally agree Andy
Honkers, Knights, Fiji, probably Samoa ok. Malaysia, Singers and Hawaii questionable ATM. They need more than a couple of marquees. 20 big names, 5 each to those three probably isn't really enough.
The long sobs of autumn's violins wound my heart with a monotonous languor
If I remember correctly, the team from Malaysia is supported by South Africa so I would expect them to be getting lots of South African imports to help strengthen them. Hawaii will source most of their players from Tonga so hopefully with some returning Tonga players from overseas they will be alright. Same with Samoa, hopefully they can get some returning Samoans from overseas. Singapore I think will need the most help from GRR to bring in lots of imports to help become a strong team. HK will be ok with some marquee players to help them out.
Surprising Scoble hasn't been re-signed. He's clearly dropped away in the last few years.
Would be great to get Louwrens back, or did he sign long term elsewhere?

The best player we could ever have back would be Pek Cowan, foundation player and absolute legend of the club

From the Force Facebook:
Our Rising Star, Tevin Ferris and Peter Grant and Chris Heiberg are back next year!
Peter Grant is well and truely passed it. Cant we get some better players ffs. We couldnt even win the NRC, by the end of the season we were playing abysmal rugby. We need some key core players to compliment Ian Prior and also some dynamic game breakers out wide to not only break through the gain line constantly but also to keep the defense constantly on it toes leaving the mid field exposed for our forwards to pick and drive when required. No real ball carriers at the moment in the forward pack, the team needs a complete overhaul.
