Steak at queens head, bruce sonia n engine are quits, sav is talking horses with uncle allan so the rest of head back to The Fiddler for a night cap.

Day 2 starts bit bit overcast, bit like my head feels at the moment. Sav n Dave have not made the tour bus so its off to see the sights of auckland. A fantastic tour and great driver, Don, very humorous and plenty of aussie rugby digs at us, even stopped for breakfast pint at The Bog where the maid used to work at The Brumbies and knows of Seane n Helen, and even Amiee the original from Force Superstore. Then the owner turns up and he knows our "aussie" John & Robbie. Sav n Dave Have rejoined us after the tour but now Lonz is off for a nap, HTFU Lonz.

Found Vulcan Lane, apparently you could get anything in this lane "in the old days" so Engine tells me. Now there are just boutique bars and fashion shops, so the view is excellent, and now we are seeing the first rain drops on tour, works well with the white shirts passing by! Visited The Champions store (rugby shop) and complimented them on the fab window display (force jumpers!) then to Minus 5, an ice bar, said g'day Ben and now thawing at Lenin Bar.

The night ends back at The Fox with two rugby matches. Engine gets surprise visit from is sister and brother in law that have come from Rotarua and are already half cut. She opens with "you boys should come down Rotarua, Engine I s a legend down there cause he f%#ks all the Maori chicks". Sonias been a big winner on the pokies so she shouts kebabs on the way home. A quick Muscat nigt cap and that is day 2 over.

Day 3 designated sleep in morning, everyone does their own breakfast thing and I sleep in to 10.30am, which is 6.30 over there, no wonder i'm still tired. Head pass the boys hotel on the way to the bus and the door man tells us they are out playing cricket! A 30 minute bus trip from Auckland gets us to the ground. It's 12.30, the games 5 hours off so we hit the bars in Westfield, yes it's a shopping centre with bars right across from the ground.

happy days TiF, were there many force fans there? they showed on fox the players going towards the fans at the end of the game....there should be no problem in hitting 40+ pubs now!!
