Alcock is a better ball runner than Hodgo so he will add an extra dimension to the attack. Plays his best when he is in the team replacing Hodgo rather than coming off the bench. Need Mozza to embrace his Wallaby inclusion and have a massive game. Masirewa has been a hard runner but still to cross the try line....Mitch Scott did more last year!
Little to be gained for the remainder of the year other than spoiling the Rebels chance of making the finals....but that's a good thing.
A win here would lift us above the Jaguars (so 15th) but we'd then be within shouting distance of the Cheetahs and Reds (with a game in Bloemfontein to come) and another win would lift us to 13th and 'best of the worst'!
Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
Great try. Some crap passing though.. Not sure we are going to win this one.. :-(
Come on guys - PLEEEEASE ...
(And wasn't it lovely to see the Bulls get their come-uppance from the Lions, and at Loftus too!)
60 min stoppage again...

The fact that we scored three tries was (the) one (?) good thing to take out of the match..
Thought the guys played relatively well. There was a lot less kicking ball away than usual and more open to running attack. Just wish this had started 10 weeks ago! And what a difference a good ref makes. Alcock did really well, made some good mètres.
I still thought they were standing WAY too deep in attack, Matthewson and Grant conspired to ensure our Ad Line stat was as atrocious as it has been all season.
THinkgs started to shape up once Ryan came on, forging Grant to run onto the ball a bit, but damage done by then.

Rebs scored two tries around the 60 min mark which was the decider. Our 60 min fade out strikes yet again. We played OK but on balance the rebs deserved the win, probably doubled our run metres. Another REB WFR decided by 7 or less.
