Heading to Melbourne tomorrow for the start of the F1 season
I really really really hope that someone other than Vile Vettel will be world champion this season!!

I'd love to see Button win but McLaren haven't been great in testing. Sadly, Vile Vettel's Red Bull has though
Have my eye on Louise (!) & Nico though!

Yeah, McLaren's trying a new design and the AusGP maybe too soon for them.

Outraged?
One would think most racing PURISTS would be keen to see if there's any basis to the hegemony.
Racing isn't exactly a power sport and the traditional differences between male and female athletes don't appear to be obviously challenged. I would think it's a bit like shooting, not a strength sport, not a flexibility sport, but more a body control/concentration sport.
Worth the look (but as anybody who watches top shot will attest, there are some aspects to practical shooting competitions which seem to affect female performance)
As long as the girls don't get a head start, and compete on a level playing field, I say give it a go!
C'mon the
Women already play a major role in motor sport, somebody has to hold the umbrellas on the starting grid
(I hope Ali is on flight to Melbourne and doesn't see this )

Education is Important, but Rugby is Importanter!
The fitness for F1 requires incredible strength to cope with constant G forces - 3 to 4 g on some tracks. It's a stamina and endurance event and the drivers are supreme athletes. Drivers can sweat off anything up to 3kg of their body weight during the course of a race (on the hottest tracks)
I'm with you. Level playing field. They're already doing well in other racing codes. The girls probably enjoyed watching Jeremy Clarkson getting his butt kicked by Sabine Schmitz - but then again, we probably all did.
The ABC breakfast crew informing us that the new Pope will be known as "Pope Francis" and not "Pope Francis the First" - because there is no roman numeral for one.
Maybe we need a "What makes you go WTF thread".

For mine, F1 is a man's sport. Don't wanna see women in it. Watching sport is soooo much better when it's men!
