KB did a serious sounding Achilles injury yesterday. Horrible news for the guy after making such a good comeback with us. You'd imagine it might have a bit of an impact on us giving him another year as well.

Yeah was a shocker, hadn't been on long (about the 46th I think) but was starting to get into it and had hit a few breakdowns.
Was possibly aware of some of the negative things previously said about his D.
Unless there's someone similar out there that can also play, if I were Cron I'd entertain that for sure.
Get Twiggy on the phone and get him involved in indigenous engagement through Tattarang or Minderoo.

You've really gotta feel for the bloke. After all he's gone through, self inflicted or otherwise, to have worked so hard to get his situation on track; it must be totally devastating.

I guess one positive spin is we aren't losing any (so far...) to other Australian Franchises...

If Beale is out next Season and not kept in the building, I wonder if you might look to the out of contract Kyle Godwin for the maturity and Backs leadership role?
It looks like Lyon don't intend re-signing him.
He'll be 32 in July and racked up an additional 2,278 minutes since we farewelled him, in French Top 14 alongside the likes of Semi Radradra and against some of the best in the world. has been mostly starting in #12, with some in #13 and the balance #22/23 and averaging 58 minutes.
Probably wouldn't be suggesting if not a local "lad", but might just be the returning good news story player we need.

Kaitu'u confirmed leaving, not surprising was great in GRR, showed promise in return to Super rugby but just did not seem to kick on.
He gave us many years good service for which we thank him.
He was always up for a chat and had a great demeanor about him.
He will be missed and I hope that he does well in his next chapter.

Rodda, Santi, Feleti - all off to pastures new. It'd be really nice to get some good news out of Force HQ soon, either players extending their contracts or new players joining.

Not surprising that Nikolai Foliaki is also going but very surprised to see Felix Kalapu also leaving, I suppose that injury last year has set him too far back.
Felix like Feleti was always up for a chat and happy to make time to interact.
Wonder whats going to happen with Felix partner Hailey that plays for the womens team?

To me Kalapu is the surprise as he has only served 2 of a 3 year contract.
Wish all three of them all the best and thank you.
