a list of "top 101 books" that has Cloudstreet & 1894 on it. As well as books that are < 12 months old; no dracula, oliver twist, (possibly) Sherlock Holmes. Also would have put the Voyage of the Dawntreader in there as well as The Lion Witch & The Wardrobe. ALSO didnt see Deliverance on there!!!

I think you meant 1984, which certainly has more veracity making the list than the Vampire Academy (28th!), the Happiest Refugee (65th), or 50 Shades of Gray (76th).
Great Expectations shouldn't be as low as 86th, and To Kill a Mockingbird is a great book, but surely only made 3rd because of the recent publicity regarding the potential sequel.
I was a little shocked by how many of the 101 I haven't read, but then noticed that the list includes Rainbow Rowell and Robin Hobb, so actually I'm OK.
