Nice work guys- Hope to see more of the banner in coming weeks, it looked great.
As if it was needed, but this weekend has provided a little more boost to maintain the rage, as it were.
Mr Swee and I unexpectedly found ourselves having my eldest step-daughter stay over on Saturday night. She's the girliest girl out there and has probably never watched a game of rugby so I was a little worried she'd not be into the game at all so resolved to try and get her engaged in at least the 'atmosphere' of being part of the Sea of Blue. A new jersey and a quick lesson on shouting "Go Force" later, we were set. We got to the game, settled into our seats while we watched the teams warm up. As the whistle blew for kick-off I braced myself waiting to hear "I'm bored" or "Can I go play?" but those words never came. Instead those lessons paid off, all i heard was "Go Force!!", joining in with the crowd when the cheers went up.
She's now 'saving up' for a season ticket. And sadly part of me is hoping it is a passing fad that she'll forget in a few weeks, since I don't know how to explain to her that 'her team' might not play next year.
Unfortunately I'll be away for work this weekend and will have to miss another game but I'll be there in spirit and will catch up on the result during the transit in Singapore. Keep up the fantastic work everyone!
