Better than you had hoped for I think Exile?![]()

Well for me I agree with those who have said that McKenzie has made a bit of a twat of himself over the last couple of weeks and I believe he has done it before too. Some wise man in the far North told me the other day his nickname is link......I'm assuming that's cause he's got one missing. Rather appropriate under the present circumstances.![]()
It is business but you should conduct yourself in such a manner too.
Just happy to be here
I think the young fella did extremely well - held his own, even tho the onslaught was coming from all angles. Logic was the winner today. Brother Sage did him, and his team proud.Originally Posted by Burgs

But it ain’t about how hard ya hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done! Now if you know what you’re worth then go out and get what you’re worth. But ya gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers saying you ain’t where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody! Cowards do that and that ain’t you! You’re better than that!" - Rocky Balboa
Thanks Exile, that's really appreciated.Originally Posted by Exile

Reds and Brumbies are really suffering- whats Ewen's beef?
Speaking of beef, Force has been fortunate with the longevity of their front rowers this season. Hardy terrific,Fitter and Scott good. But it won't always be so rosy. In the wear and tear of the engine room, we need those extra back-ups (Whalley,Cowan,Taki ) so I wouldn't be too hasty in discarding any of them. We've been lucky with McIsaac covering all front row too.![]()
Oz Rugby's 4th team comes at the expense of each incumbent state squad and their development academies. And one day it will be Force's turn . The Reds have been gutted!![]()

Problem is Mystic, if we get a new squad member we have to let one go, there is a limit to the contracted players each team is allowed. So, assuming Mitchell is actually coming, there is already three Force '06 Squad Members that will have to drop from the list from the eight who signed one year contracts pre season.

Lets not stand in the way of building quality.
What gives has to give.
Put up or shut up and keep signing them !!
Burgs, who are the eight on one year contracts ? Which of those will be likely to go? How are the 'apprentice' positions affected given that some are actually starting games each week?
Haven't seen any of Whalley this season, and not much of Cowan. Fitter has apparently 'deficiencies in open play' (commentary opinion) and his age may go against him, but at least he's had a good run in Force's first season.
Who goes for Takiari and DMitchell ?
( Went and found this list Burgs of players out of contract, still current? )
Force:
Vitori Buatava
Pek Cowan
Tim Davidson
Luke Doherty
Dave Fitter
Tajhon Smallman-Mailata
John Welborn (? possibly already re-signed for one more year)
AJ Whalley

From above list - could it be three going from the last four names?
I'm guessing in order Fitter, Whalley, Mailata and Welborn, but I'll give you a better answer later on MB![]()
