Hey guys.
We are going to be doing a High School/Uni youth group called Eastern Alliance on the eastern corner area (E14). We are going to have chants etc. Our website is www.easternalliance.com.au
Come a long and bring as many mates as you can, brochures will be coming out soon and we are hoping to attract people who don't normally consider coming to the Glory.
So anybody should experience the atmosphere of a Perth Glory game.
you 'buy' the crabs for each race.....plenty of behind the scenes exchanges of cash!!! Also, make sure any girls with you wear white t-shirts (the bar-staff come out with high-powered water guns and give everyone a soaking!!!!)Originally Posted by jargan83

When are you heading over?
CHEERLEADERS ROCK!!!
i didnt know glory was going to have a kindergarten section, in teh east stand...
the only reason i would attend glory matches is to see how they play, and if anything has improved from last season.
i mean marketing wise, imo they are screwed from what ive seen.
sure ok so there's ad's in the paper and on billboards e.t.c but really thats not going to impact much. On the other hand if pg decieded to put banners/flags advertising the club atop the lamp posts in the city, it would certainly make more people aware. If thats possible.
thats the marketing tool for the highlanders, everywhere i went in dunedin, higlander banners everywhere.
I believe the glory have signed a few new faces for this season, and according to people who follow the game religiously, it should be a much better outfit this season.I believe they have new owners, who are prepared to spend some money and get the glory right up there. The company i work for has a corporate box there and interestingly the price has gone up about 11 grand from last season. Must need the money to buy players.!!!
i fly out for melbourne the night of the 23rd september (red eye) for the AFL grand final then up to sydney on the sunday night (30th september) for the NRL grand final before finally returning to perth on the 10th of october just in time to catch WA vs NSW ond day game at the wacaOriginally Posted by JediKnight
the glory have signed a few new faces up this year and im'm hoping that we do better then last year thats for sure. The call about the owners is right as well about how they spendiong som cash to get the club back up there.
Perth glory have drawn their opening match of the season 0-0, i'll dig up a match report and crowd figure later on
