Ratu's try was awesome - after watching the Backs make so many ball handling error (off loading under pressure nearly 100% f**k up rate) - it was a relief to see someone break through - he did a double dummy to get through.
Thought the set pieces were good in paticular the lineouts which were awesome - AJ in particular really stood up last night.
Need Hennas fit to settle the backs. Should be a few people returning from injury soon like Boof etc.. these new ELVs seem to be injury prone or are we just unlucky
Great to see Sheps get through another full game - hopefully he doesn't pull up to sore - he missed 9 points - as for Fava getting the ball nicked out of his hands on the good side of the try line by a cheeky viking well what can I say - more bench presses please - it wasn't Poppy - next time slam the bugger down fast.
All in all a game we lost rather than a Viking win (sorry Evie !) frustrating - with more near misses than a road trip across the Nullarbor. The Spirit are heaps stronger than last nights performance.

heheh nice burgs.
Cross was very disappointing last night too.![]()
I made Happy sad...
Looked like Ratu did his hamstring - hope it doesn't keep him out next week.
Spirit looked very ordinary. Vikings were more competitive at the breakdown. Ref was appalling ('nuf said!!!).
CHEERLEADERS ROCK!!!
Just saw the highlights on ABC Half Time Wrap.
First try was good by Vikings but very poor defensive structure by the Spirit and a sloppy tackle to make it worse.
Second try was an intercept off a pass that should never have been thrown.
Agree Ratu's try was a speccie.

I saw Ratu chatting with a couple of spectators as i was leaving, wen he started wandering off i noticed he was walking with a destinct limp. Although his try was brillian![]()
Mmm i actually spoke to him and Daruda at the end of the match. I asked him if he was ok cos i'd seen him limping and he said he just thought he'd strained something but thought it'd be ok.Originally Posted by jargan83

Nope no idea. The report i heard literally said 'fractured leg'. I did feel like mentioning that you can't actually fracture a leg...but what's the point?Originally Posted by Thequeerone

i heard today that it was his ankle that he broke/fractured.
bad news about ratu as well![]()
Initial reports were on his ankle and "needing oxygen"
Dunno what all that is about![]()

Looked like his ankle rather than his leg. I guess the oxygen was because it was hurting a bit!!!!
Bad news for Ratu. Maybe he didn't warm up enough before coming onto the pitch.

The report we received up in the press box was "liagment damage to the ankle".Originally Posted by Thequeerone
