Yes, he is still part of the team and deserves the position!
Yes, may as well get our moneys worth while he is here!
Undecided
No, I believe there is a better player regardless of the contract debacle.
No, he doesn't deserve to play if he is leaving anyway!
No, no disrespect but we may as well reward someone who is staying.
After his performance last week i cant see why you would drop him just cause hes leaving, That would be childish and immature.
Sage in WA we got EMU Bitter mate and im with you, I hope he gets injured![]()
i think digby will want to put in a big effort, leave he club, that helped him so much, on a high and if the Force is to win by a margin bigger than 41 points against the Blues we may need that hard running game again.
no way should he play, mitch asked him to "stand up and be a man" in regards to his back flip first agreeing to sign for force then going to the reds. the future of the team must come first.

my 2c worth...
Digby deserves a good send off, he has played a crucial role for the Force in their first two seasons. I would like to see him either start and be subbed at half time or start on bench with Haig on and let Digby play the last 20 mins.
Every forwards dream is to become a back...
hes still part of the team he should play.
we should give him a huge (possibly) last game and thank him for all hes done for the force. he left his home at 19 to play for the force he deserves to play and have a big game.
Bitterness does not come into it. His going to Qld is a just another player movement. There'll be plenty more over the years.Originally Posted by Sagerian

He only got in the starting team last week because of injuries. I'd definitely play Haig Sare this week I think he's been very unlucky not to have got more game time this year anyway.
I think if he's leaving, there should be no way he plays this final game.
Sure he might be the best for the position, but if he wants to leave for another team, he doesn't deserve the right to play for really a different team.
Its hard for me to say this because as Shaun knows, Digby is, and has been my favorite WF player. Its a real shame we're loosing him.
I don't see much bitterness over Digby leaving and as far as the negotiation debacle is concerned then I can't comment on that as the press have done their best to sensationalise it.
Personally, I think Digby is a great player and a future star but we should not pick him for Friday as we need to look to the future, i.e. next year’s finals. I know we have a chance for this year but it is slim and I feel it would be important to put pressure on another player that will be here next year. It's how players handle pressure on the day that counts and Digby, if selected, would not be functioning under the same motivation.
