Not quite sure what I watched.

An amazing 25 minutes, took a drinks break and then we fell into a horrible black hole. (May need to test if there was anything in that water!)

That said the Force boys did not do too badly under the circumstances, Donno and Tizzano the best of the quartet with Williams and Stewart good steady performances.

It was hard to comprehend what was happening so as usual I went back to the stats to get clarity to make the comment I have made in regards to the way our boys played.

    Stewart
    0 Metres 3 Carries 9 Passes 10 Tackles 3 Missed Tackles 2 Kicks

    Donaldson
    55 Metres 5 Carries 2 Defenders Beaten 1 Clean Break 15 Passes 2 Tackles 1 Missed tackle 9 Kicks

    Tizzano
    3 Metres 6 Carries 2 Defenders Beaten 2 Passes 17 Tackles 1 Missed tackle 1 Turnover won
Rugby Championship total tackles 74 with 1 miss

    Williams
28 Metres 4 Carries 1 Defender Beaten 1 Clean Break 3 Passes 12 Tackles 3 Missed tackles 1 Turnover won 1 Line out won

    1 Not allowed!

Oh that's it he's no good for sure...
In capturing as a stat, is account given for the tackle enabling the next man in to stoppage, or just purely if the tackler stopped the attacker?
With Stewart, I noticed several attempts did enough t allow the second man in to effect the ruck, but had Stewart not made the hit the attacker would have been away.
I suspect the ones I noticed would have been called missed tackles, but I would one-eyed call them "missed but effective"?

    0 Not allowed!
