Great for Robbo and I think a good choice, but bloody tough on Nonggor, who's actually been quite decent so far. AAA should really be the one being dropped - he's way out of form and seems a liability at scrum time at the moment.
Was hoping for BPA a couple of weeks ago. Should be a great addition

Think about this SEVEN years ago on the 20 August 2017 Twiggy addressed us all at the rally at Western Force headquarters and exactly SEVEN years later, SEVEN Western Force players on the annversary date are selected for the Wallaby touring squad.

Not suggesting they are the best for every position, but would like to see the following combo get a run-

    1 Angus Bell
    2 Brandon Paenga-Amosa
    3 Taniela Tupou
    4 Josh Canham
    5 Nick Frost
    6 Jeremy Williams
    7 Carlo Tizzano
    8 Rob Valetini
    9 Nic White
    10 Ben Donaldson
    11 Marika Koroibete
    12 Hamish Stewart
    13 Josh Flook
    14 Max Jorgensen
    15 Tom Wright

    16 Matt Faessler
    17 Tom Robertson
    18 James Slipper
    19 Lukhan Salakaia-Loto
    20 Tom Hooper
    21 Tate McDermott
    22 Tom Lynagh
    23 Corey Toole

There's a lot to like about your selections Burgs, but, for me, Donno would represent a last chance saloon. He's not really impressed me in the games he's played at international level this year and I can't figure out why.

In Super Rugby he proved to have a lot more upside than Lolly, however he's had a couple of insipid performances (especially the Georgia game, which was his chance to cement the spot IMHO)

Lolesio hasn't done enough to lock the role down, so the door's still open, however he has looked slightly better so far (not by a long way mind you, the kicking in SA game 1 being an example)

I also think Joe sees Williams as a lock not a 6, but I reckon you've got him in the right number. We probably won't see it, but it'd be where he shines.

I think it's a big call leaving Ikitau out of the first test of a 2 test tour in Argieland, I'd make that call in game 2 if game 1 has gone well.

Mish to 12 is the smart call, but not necessarily the only call, Feluai is more like-for-like with Paisami and might get the not. Personally, I'd likely go Stewart Ikitau (ball will flow better to probably the bset outside back in Oz) or Feluai, Flook (josh will be protected by the fact that he won't get a lot of footy and his desire to chase pill and organise defense will help)

But, these adjustments are minor and I'd agree this is likely the only part of TRC where we can play with combinations a bit and see what the fringe players offer against tier 1 opposition.

Yes. Backed it for a place @ $3.60. I got cold feet when a stack of money went on Pat Carberry's mount - trained by his wife.

Donaldson definitely hasn't "done enough" with his opportunities, but also tricky to make a last chance call if coming off the bench.
If not performing in the Force dominant combo suggested here, then absolutely would make a poor case for the future (and leave a lot of scratching of heads).

Likely accurate on this. I view being Williams is an 80 minute player with mobility regardless of jersey, so why not have him out there and available to slot into the Seconds in the last 20-30.
Was tossing up between this or having him on the Bench with #6 Valetini #8Salakaia-Loto to go a power game against the Argentine pack, but relented when I figured too many heads would explode

A bit of the thinking is that Stewart and Flook have likely been building a partnership in contested training against the A Team.
To have a two week window into the first match of dedicated training as a combination would be a more productive build up for both players, rather than a reactionary 4-5 days between fixtures on the back of a loss and as pressure filled "solution".
If you think the mindset for a Stewart-Ikitau loss in the first match for then Stewart to be dropped (worst case) or have to get up for the second with another partner, then I think better the proactive route.
It isn't too left field to suggest Ikitau may not play every minute of the TRC, so in the name of workload management this is a reasonable option. Apart from 66 minute performance, he has played every minute he's been selected since the 4th of May, though did miss 2 x Wales.
