In a literal sign of the surging popularity of the WA beer, the iconic Swan billboard has returned to The Raffles Hotel in Applecross after a 20-year hiatus.
On August 15 the neon-lit Swan Draught sign is set to be switched on, replacing the one promoting Asahi, the Japanese brewing giant and rival of Swan Brewery’s parent company Kirin.

I reckon I had pretty close to a 20 year hiatus from it too. I actually like it after trying a few pints of late. Can't help wondering if it does actually taste different or it's all in the mind.

I'd rather support actual local businesses in the form of Rocky Ridge or Blasta etc instead of something owned by a foreign conglomerate.
