There's (I think, quick look) only Moli and Franklin left unsigned or defined from the overseas players, so maybe if RA swung their dicks and mandated only two positions?

A lot of these losses are shitting me. I get the usual turnover and saw some coming. Personally Medrano and Anstee were favourites. If this has come from RA then there had better be compensation as we are losing multi year players. As history has shown and the incompetent NSWelshman still can't see the sugar hit doesnt last. Where are the 2017 Force players? How much did RA benefit? Coleman, Arnold, Ainsley, Ruru, Peni, Rona, Rangi, so much more who retired or went off shore. If RA are putting in caveats then they need to fill the holes they create.

I can accept anstee moving on, he was rarely used and is probably as keen to leave as force management are to move him on. Opinions of amateurs such as myself don't count for much in a situation like that. Medrano, OTOH has been our key Tighthead for years and there's a gulf behind him. Thp is also a difficult position to find any replacement, let alone quality ones. That one has disaster potential in huge amounts.

I think both times it has been pressure from the national union for him to compete in Europe.

I believe Santi is quite happy at the Force and would stay if all things were equal.

Yes, but Cheika no longer coaches Los Pumas, and I don't know if Argentina have continued that stipulation. It didn't stop Matera getting picked in 2022 when he played for the Crusaders, though.
