    That's exactly the question.
Not saying he hasn't become a solid Test contender, not saying he isn't potentially the best available for Australia.
Am saying there's no way he is worth the money he would command elsewhere to come to the Force.
We are better served getting 3-4 really good Locks for the same money.

Skelton's issue of not jumping in the line-out isn't so much of an issue if we have Williams at 6 (and possibly Anstee at 8!) Any player who can hold down a starting lock position for the European Champions is going to improve the Force.

If you are talking about Tupou, I agree. I've always thought he's overrated, as he can't scrum properly (continually bores in) and his tackling is a liability. A year to two in the NH would solve his technical issues, and if he gets the right coaching team should solve his weight and injury issues. However, I do wonder if what's really holding him back is the top 4" (cf Nemani Nadolo)
    Can it be both?
In this instance I was talking about Skelton.
Even if both/either were the best in the world, it would not be a value proposition for them to be at the Force in 2025.

to be fair, his illegal scrummaging isn't just permitted in Super Rugby, it's celebrated.

We aren't building a team to take on English and South Africal front rows with refs being assessed by World Rugby, we're playing against New Zealanders, who get away with the same crap in front of refs who allow it.

Josh nasser has only started one game for the Reds this year, how can they justify his selection over Horton ?

Totally agree, if you want a mobile defensive capacity Rake to be on the Bench, then very hard to go past Horton for mine.

Nine Force players would be too many for NSW to palate. Horto hard done by in my book, he's had a rippa season

He ruled out now he's signed with the NRL?

I saw somewhere they wouldn't release him before the end of contract, which would be either 30 June or end of International Selections, but I can't see him getting a look in as a marginal selection anyway.
