Although I'm not that impressed with everything he said, I think he's a step in the right direction as Chair. Was prepared to make some firm statements and back them up with a little bit of logic. (I don't personally agree that the national club championship idea will do anything to prepare a player for Super Rugby, but at least he justified the decision and you can't ask much more than that given the history of the role)
