We don’t deserve to be in finals! If by some miracle we did get in and played like that I’d rather not be anywhere near finals. Seriously don’t feel like we study the team we will play and change the game plan accordingly!

Gotta admit, I bailed early on in favour of watching Souths kick Parra while they're down. Made me feel a little better

I bailed early to watch some NRL for the first time since Anzac Day only to see Souths score a try so changed to the AFL on Kayo.

I had the option of watching the Swans or the Dragons on Thursday night. Needless to say I chose the Swans and checked NRL score on the all occasionally.

The back three were not on today. But ultimately there was no starch in defense. There were a lot of penalties and an obviously shit yellow card.

I am keen to hear what was said for Hamish yellow. Getting blown off the park tends to get the frustrations flowing.

But damn, the red dominated us. I think flat track bully is coming to mind.

Was just discussing on WhatsApp the fact that this the 4th time we've been beaten by 30 points or more, also conceded 48 points against the Rebels in round 2 but we scored 34 points ourselves.

It really feels like that once an opposition side gets a roll on we just struggle to arrest the momentum and concede big scores.

Do the Force have a specific defence coach?

    We certainly got schooled.
    The Reds were on fire.
The dreaded travel bug or what ever it is that sets in away from home was again evident.
Unlikely to travel again this year so we will have to look at fixing next season.
Hard to find many positives in that outing, however despite the disappointing result the team made a mammoth 200 tackles, set pieces starting to show a bit of stability and while we did not get much with our attack the backline movement looks like a decent work in progress.

Hard to pick my MOM, but I think its Bayley Kuenzel this week.

The attack stats are not pretty, however as usual Donaldson, Beale, Kuenzle, Princep and Williams feature.

As expected the defence stats are through the roof with 200 tackles made.

Tizzano gain top of the list and doubt anyone will catch him in super rugby this year even with us not going onto finals.

Princep yet again a feature with Stewart, Medrano, Rodda and Kuenzel.

As was shown up with the Tah dominant Wallaroos on Saturday, a side shouldn't be picked on attack alone.
The Waratah Women have never lost to an Australian Super side and it showed, they haven't had huge exposure to defensive attrition.

I believe Williams, Tizzano, Stewart and Kuenzel are all making very strong cases for Wallaby Bench consideration.
Experience in the defensive trenches is vital in big matches and a positive byproduct of an underwhelming season is you get that experience in spades. Probably add others to that list on the fringes.

There are others from the Force pushing for Wallaby slots through the traditional selection thought pattern (Rodda, White, Donaldson), but specifically with a defensive selection thought process as a "Plan B", then I think these four have merit.
