From my reading that amount is as an unsecured creditor and not transferable to RA as is outside pay agreement?
So he either needs to get in line with the rest of the creditors and await the outcome of the franchise future, or get over it unless some good Samaritan offers to cover it.
While I understand the principle, not sure holding his mates to ransom is a great look.
My previous comment re implications for insurance purposes doesn't stand as it isn't that aspect, it's a relocation subsidy.

"Bloody oath we did!"
Nathan Sharpe, Legend.
Sounds like he's posturing for a move. Probably already got a bolt hole lined up
Great game, Fucken battled right through to the 80!
I think we all need to realise that a lot of the Fijian and other islander players, often and probably if not most of the time support families back home.
Any reduction or non payment not only affects the player but his dependents as well.
It would not be a comfortable position for him to be in.
Simon Cron: “People talk about winning and losing all the time and they are critical, but there’s a process to get into and it’s the ability to stay present, do your job and execute skills under pressure.”
I get what you are saying, but witholding your labour over a one-off $7,000 fee even though you are still being paid your regular (and, I am sure, quite considerable) salary, when lots of non-critical staff at the club have already been laid off can seem like a bit of a dick move.
I think he (or his agent) is using this to angle for an early exit to take up a better, or more secure, offer elsewhere.
