"Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It’s a very mean and nasty place and I don’t care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard ya hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done! Now if you know what you’re worth then go out and get what you’re worth. But ya gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers saying you ain’t where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody! Cowards do that and that ain’t you! You’re better than that!" - Rocky Balboa
"So to think a force player is going to play for the wallabies given the current standard is ridiculous."
You can only play who is put in front of you. The Vikings had a bunch of contracted Super players and a couple of recent fringe Wallabies in their NRC team and the Force whacked them.
Surely that should mean the Force should also have a few fringe Wallabies who at least make the training squad list as well? You bet the Vikings will, just because they also played a couple of Super games for Brumbies.
Anyway nice to see we both want the Force to be successful.
For now, I agree with Pruc, it's no secret the standard of GRR is below the standard of Super Rugby, but to be fair, JSJ might be right as well, because the standard of all Aussie teams is below the standard of Super Rugby.
Look at the NRC, the Force looked comfortable against all the teams, including the Rebs and Vikings who named essentially their SR teams without Wallabies. so we might be playing in a league that is on the improve, but we're not far from the current Aussie standard
C'mon the
I cant have any ill feeling towards any of them. The whole point of being a pro player is to work as hard as you can to get to the highest level possible. I had hoped that considering everything that has happened, and particularly the state of the finances, the Rabble would be consigned to history and we could welcome back a lot of the WA developed players. Now they have their man sitting behind the big desk. I'm FIIK where things go from here.

I’m holding out hope that when the true disastrous state of the books finally gets released, and forensic adminstrators get a look, that the whole fiasco of the Rebels is brought out into the open at last. Maybe that’s why Clarke wants the desk so he can do another coverup.
