However, I was amused by the commentators going from being happy with the projected score early in the innings (~350) to, with ~5 overs to go, trying to justify 270 as a reasonable score, then before the last ball saying "280 is a defendable score" to then "285 is a very defendable score".
Turns out 222 would have been defendable!

Last November Jimmy Anderson said that it would take an England choke not to win the World Cup (not an exact quote).
