Watching the replay of the game on SBS. How bloody embarrassing. Did they send the work experience kids over? Can't hear the commentators, the sound mixing of the stadium sound drowns it all out. The music kills any other sound. If this is what the East coast stream was like it is no wonder they think we're a rinky dink operation.
I really hope they sort it out second half.
I enjoyed the night out. A little disappointed at the late start time and also falling on a Friday but despite that I thought it was a good game, scrappy at times, but overall the Force did good to claw their way back into it. I think Global Rapid Rugby is going in a good direction, once they get the game on a Saturday night or even a sunday I'm sure the crowds will grow substantially.
Not sure about the 35min halves, the game didn't feel that much faster but that's probably because it was the first hit out of the season. Not sure if ball was in play longer either but despite all that the game was enjoyable
Anyone heard how long the ball was in play? There certainly didn’t seem to be to many breaks.
Shame they haven’t got mics on the ref yet. All told good game good entertainment and a good atmosphere.
May the FORCE be with you!
Anyone know how to catch a replay of the game?
My team enjoyed the night out (some non rugby in there ) Great game with the ref ( great job .... local talent) playing into the concept. This bodes well for next year . Great crowd ... I can see full houses in the future. I hope Robbie Deans will be in contact with the Sunwolves . My opinion...this is going to be GOOD!
Really enjoyed the Friday night game and especially the timing as no hassles getting to the ground.
Fans allowed to get onto the ground to meet all of the players after the game.
I hope that this continues.
Bring on Hong Kong next week!

Great night last night. The pregame show was just superb. Very entertaining game, obviously a bit scrappy being the first game of the season. Scrum was absolutely dominant again, fantastic work at the breakdown, line out needs some work. Great to see many of tries coming off just being patient and driving the ball forward, keeping it tight, bringing in the defense and waiting for the gaps to then open up. Backrow was superb last night, Deegan and Taefu had blinders. Great to see so many kids last night. Last night I heard groups of kids, cheering, even coming up with their own cheer songs for the force, the badge etc... which was great to hear them being so involved in the game. Also great to catch up with some of the legends in the the world XV. Well done to Cooper who I thought really reffed a well flowing game. Rule changes worked very well, especially no kicking it out on the full from your own 22, really created more ball in play time. Overall a great first game, cant wait for next week.

"Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It’s a very mean and nasty place and I don’t care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard ya hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done! Now if you know what you’re worth then go out and get what you’re worth. But ya gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers saying you ain’t where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody! Cowards do that and that ain’t you! You’re better than that!" - Rocky Balboa
