Western Force fly-half Peter Grant has been forced to retire on medical advice because of head injuries.
Western Force and former Springbok fly-half Peter Grant has been forced to retire on medical advice because of head injuries.
The news has devastated the side on the eve of the new Global Rapid Rugby season that kicks off in March.

Sad to hear, hope he hangs around the club in some kind of capacity
Oh what a real bummer. Hope he’s still going to be assisting at the Force, he’s a great mentor for the team.
Sad to hear about Peter.
Sad too that there will be no Japanese entrant in GRR for 2019. Fingers crossed it’s only because of the RWC disruption and they’ll be in for 2020.

Peter will be a great loss to the force. He was always that cool, calm collected head in times of pressure. Maybe he can take up a part time role as the kicking coach for the force?
