Feeling the Force
May 2, 2018
One of the most trusted and reliable brands in the country has joined the Western Australian-led sporting revolution.
Toyota and the Western Force will team up in the upcoming World Series Rugby season in an automotive and coaches partnership described by Force Commercial Manager Brad Paatsch as an obvious alignment.
“Toyota is constantly developing new ideas and looking for smarter alternatives. World Series Rugby is bold, fresh and definitely an exciting alternative for sports fans seeking something new,” Mr Paatsch said.
“Our players, coaches and staff have been working non-stop to ensure the Western Force succeeds, and to know an organisation as iconic and successful as Toyota is supporting us all is a great boost on the eve of our first match.”
Toyota WA Managing Director Mark Lauren says his team is delighted to join the Force and help WA take on the rugby world.
“The concept of World Series Rugby was of immediate interest to us and we can’t wait to watch it play out over the next few months,” Mr Lauren said.
“Toyota WA is a West Australian owned and operated company and partnering with the Western Force and sharing the vision is a good thing for Western Australian and the entire Australian sporting community.”
An excellent outcome. Congratulations to the negotiators who made this happen.
Could it be a hint as to who the mystery Japanese team to play the Force will be?

"Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It’s a very mean and nasty place and I don’t care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard ya hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done! Now if you know what you’re worth then go out and get what you’re worth. But ya gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers saying you ain’t where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody! Cowards do that and that ain’t you! You’re better than that!" - Rocky Balboa
Today, WA, tomorrow, the World.
Don't you think the Toyota chicken bears a striking resemblance to Twiggy in his younger days?
It must be the red hair.
Bankwest confirmed as Western Force jersey sponsor and RugbyRoos sponsor.

This is madness. Werent we all lead to beleive that getting sponsorships for a pro rugby side was incredibly tough/ or nigh on impossible? Yet there are a number of incredibly significant global corporations that have come on board to back Forrest's reborn Force.
Wasn't it Melbourne who have been struggling to get sponsorship as of late? Which is amazing in such a sport obsessed town. Have they even got a full list of sponsors?
At this rate there wont be any room on the Force jumper for the Force logo.. we can have a jumper graffitied in sponsors or hopefully land a deal like the All Black AIG deal
More egg on Clyne's face, when will he stop becoming a human punching bag?
Yes I saw that too but nothing has been said about it
Looks like they are a World Series rugby sponsor. Not just western Force to me. Watch the after gamer presser the card board behind Sampson and Ian had a nice allotment of high profile companies.
Generally speaking you aren’t learning much if your lips are moving!!!

possibly being the travel partner, it allows them to get the opposition over relatively cheaply.
