I hate to be a naysayer, and I'd love to agree with you all about the Rebels numbers this season, but they did get 16K to the Highlanders game on 30/3 according to this.

Average of 10K is pretty piss poor though. The 5K vs Jaguares seems to have stared at 3:15 - thats pretty ugly.
That's an aberration, the real signal of strength is when you don't have Kiwi supporters coming to support the visitors.
Same as the B+I Lions figures on that link, how many of the fans were Rebels fans, how many were opposition fans?
We are looking at beating that against what is essentially a second string Fiji side, somehow I think that isn't being made up by majority Fiji fans.
Hmmm, yeah, but don't Austadiums use the "official" figures, that would be the ones controlled by RA and MRRU. does anybody remember the quick changes that occurred as a result of the 5500 crowd, I think it was Clyne himself saying it was "something like 10,000" and then they had to revert back to a more realistic number once he was getting called for his crap.
I haven't watched many matches, but I'd call a 6,000 crowd generous for most of their season and they topped the SUperDuperRugby ladder at one point!
C'mon the

Yeah, no dollar value placed on the deal BUT its touted as the 'biggest of its kind in Australian sport'. Its also 'unique and focuses on Pacific Islander pathways and 'designed to deliver ground a breaking program of inclusion and combat social inequity, violence and injustice'.
Its going to be a perfect 'partner' once ASIC releases its findings about 'inclusion', 'injustice' and 'social inequity', can't wait.....
