It has been good so far from what I have seen from us true believers. I have seen the ads in train stations which look great.
I have seen on here and the sea of blue website the passion.
How do we promote the game to fill the stadium?
What else can we do?
I have thought about this - I am happy to wear my Western Force Gear - always have been![]()
I was thinking which can be dangerous! I'd love to be wearing a Western force top with logo on the front and the advertising of all home games on the back of a shirt almost like you see when a popular band comes to Perth selling the shirts with the tour dates and venues listed. I guess a fixtures shirt if that makes sense.
I say this after going to a family do during Easter, wearing my WF shirt. People and family members told me I thought they didn't exist any more blah blah blah! Admittedly most of them are AFL fans. I said they do and it starts on May the 4th.
Our promotion needs to improve and needs to come in many forms. I think an annual fixtures shirt would be one way to get the message out there that we are back and ready to rumble.
I thought the fixtures are better on the back of the shirt as people have more time to read them following you from behind than passing you as they are heading the other way.
Anyway just a thought- but with 4 weeks to go I want that stadium full if we can do it and maintain that through out the years to come.
So share your ideas and lets think tank how to get the stadium rocking.
Agreed. Almost everyone I talk to about the Force is shocked we are actually going to have a game! I think some full page west ads might be good. What about getting some ads that pop up on youtube or the like. No idea what that costs.
Other idea I had for increasing attendence would be a campaign that every diehard supporter brings someone extra along with them . Maybe someone not usually a rugby follower.
It would be great to be the best attended team in Oz.
Funnily Mrs Leo who has no interest in rugby whatsoever was telling me the other day how she had to explain to friends that The Force is back. (Proud moment)
Fixture shirt really is not bad idea, I havent grabbed a tee from the new store yet but would if I thought I was helping. (Always wear my Force gear anyway and waitin on a polo)
Other ideas is juniour rugby players getting discount tickets for their families. Create that passion
It’s upside down lol, but it is kind of the idea I have for a tour/ fixture shirt. We could become walking billboards.
I love the idea, for people that aren't aware of WSR to know the Western Force is still here, what's going on, and the dates the games are on. Hopefully some people who weren't aware might be tempted to come along to some games.
Just a suggestion though, can we change the sponsor from BLK to the Feng Hua Huang Apparel Company?

Let's have one of these in WA! Click this link: Saitama Super Arena - New Perth Stadium?
The RA Ard Fheis AGM is on today. Watch them slap themselves on the back when they make a profit. Hopefully more material to send on to ASIC.

Full page ad in today’s West.
perthnow.com.au also advertising
I think that's a great idea, but the picture is too big and the writing of dates and games is too small (for me anyway)
truth triumphs
Nice to see a BIG Full page Ad but sorry, not really very impressed with the design The other billboards posters are heaps more impact.
Yeh it was just me pinching a billboard and putting it on the back of a fake shirt. It’s more the idea of it I was trying to put across and give a visual.
Yeah, plus Ticketmaster to be honest. I was charged full price on a couple of memberships discount tickets last year because of their convoluted system. It was like the system was designed to be impossible to actually figure out how to claim a membership discount if you wanted to buy extra tickets. Plus the latest issues with this year's tickets.
