Gee, what a disgrace, a golden opportunity for rugby and the new stadium has been wasted and ignored tonight whilst the NRL take advantage of the Souths vs Warriors clash. What a disgrace, another golden opportunity missed by our disgraceful governing body. Shame on the RA for not utlising and launching their product at the new optus stadium, shame on Clyne, shame on him, fucking idiot
NRL will be loving the publicity and reviews associated with the souths/ warriors game at optus stadium. What a great atmosphere
Still aroubd for bulldogs v storm

What was the crowd figures?
Japan and the Pacific Islands for Aussie Super 9's!
Let's have one of these in WA! Click this link: Saitama Super Arena - New Perth Stadium?
Everyone who was paid to attend attended.
good to see--the pally area is bogan free for a few hours?
I make it a sacred duty never to attend Nedlands based events Gunny, so I don't know about bogans.
Are they a Western Suburbs thing?
By the way, have you sold the jet ski, the SUV, campervan and the twin engine speed boat yet?
Most bogans have.
You can tell by the empty, rectangular brown areas on their lawns.
Well they need something better than that pathetic attendance at that RLWC double-header.

A little under 39k was the crowd.
Great night and first time at the pub next to the stadium as well which is a pretty good venue.
Curious to know what opportunity RA missed out on? If the Force were still in Super Rugby I have no doubt they would be playing at NiB.

Attendance was 38 800
With no pro rugby team in town what was the missed opportunity.
Good night out. Impressive stadium. Bogan count extremely high.
Stop trying to disrespect a good rant by asking for valid reasons please.
The only good point of a night where the Storm and Warriors won is that Gage Roads have managed to present palatable mid strength beers.
On a serious note - not a bad venue for Rugby/League/Football considering the lack of corners especially compared to Subi.
NIB is still better for viewing but Optus is a 100x better than subi for viewing from where everyone I sat. Wasn’t going to go but snagged a free ticket. Went in Force gear and found myself cheering for the doggies as everyone hates Victorians😉. Debate over a few plus beers were that storm and rebels were pathetic names for a team and they should be changed to Melbourne Evil and Melbourne Bodysnatchers respectively and by no means possible was these decisions influenced by alcoholic beverages- much🍺
