The editor refused to publish it mainly because they couldn't verify the accuracy of my figures (even though I gave them the link to the ASIC website to get the accounts I was quoting from). He also said it had been published on GnGR that morning and he didn't want to publish it a second time.
Proudly Western Australian; Proudly supporting Western Australian rugby
That's not an excuse as Green and Gold is a separate website and doesn't have as big an overseas audience that The Roar has.
We mustn't forget that even though Spiro is now retired he made his living as a Rugby journalist in Australia off the ARU's activities and sources. The old wise tail of don't bite the hand that feeds you.
There are plenty of people on The Roar who are so dismissive and say that Force fans should move on (which includes the Rebels). A load of horses..t as they aren't in the same situation. I also see there are still plain ignorant people on the Roar who are blind to the ARU and VRU's activities. TWAS considers it slander when people rightly question the credibility of Clyne, Clarke and the other stooges.
On the topic of moving time to focus on nailing the ARU, VRU and the Rebels. Anyone who wishes to make a submission has to do so by the 12th.
Rod Kafer is an excellent "in hindsight" coach. In hindsight, the ARU will wonder why they ever did that.
Kafer has been in Sydney too long. The smog is getting to his head
