"12 Years a Supporter" starring the #SeaOfBlue
Hope the article's better than the alliteration
Need to thank all those of you who came to the photo shoot! Great to meet fellow TWFers, and thanks also to the young Chiefs ringin who came to hold the banner with us!
Disappointing pic in the sunday times.. but better than nothing..after all the photo's she took I thought we would get something better!!!

Fair point about the photo guys. But to be fair to the tog and Nick Taylor, they would have had very little control over the location, size or anything else about the photo or the article. That would all have been up to the editors and would have been heavily influenced by what other stuff they wanted in today's paper.
Sadly too, the Dockers win last night would have shoved us well down the pecking order.
But I would like to echo Val's thanks to all of those who came along to lend their support - you are real troopers :-)) I was personally disappointed that more people didn't show up but I understand that other things would have taken priority, especially as it was a good couple of hours before KO.
By the way, for those of you that are interested, the Fox guy who was with us all afternoon said that he'd got some good footage of the loyal sea of blue in action before, during and after the game and would be packaging it up into a piece that will be aired on this Tuesday's Kick and Chase programme hosted by Nick McCardle.

"Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It’s a very mean and nasty place and I don’t care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard ya hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done! Now if you know what you’re worth then go out and get what you’re worth. But ya gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers saying you ain’t where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody! Cowards do that and that ain’t you! You’re better than that!" - Rocky Balboa
I know guys - it wasn't the best timing. Still thought we could have got more than the 25 or so that were there though.
