In the more honest division of rugby within the state where Force players only have to guest coach on occasion, this weekend sees the game of the round at the immaculate facilities of Meadow Springs;
Pirates host their first home game this season, against Arks after their impromptu bye last week
Rocky make the long trip south to Bunbury ... to play Swans making an even longer trip !
Curtin host a spirited Kwinana side after their win last week
Whilst a rampaging Lions travel to the emerald home Perth Irish
Looking forward to it all ... then we all continue the weekend at the NIB on Sunday
Interested to know why there was an impromptu bye last week?
yay! championship rugby!
Go the Goats!
Now lets see, shall we call the boring crap rugby District Competition something like say "The Championship" and make it out something that its not (exciting)?
Its a con job.
Palitu, surely there's a chess competition or something you could go to this weekend to get your kicks? Yay!
As pointless as comparing Premiership Rugby to Super Rugby. You have given 100% proof that you are a clueless Troll by firstly demanding a separate thread then denigrating someone for making the effort. Not that any proof is needed.
"The main difference between playing League and Union is that now I get my hangovers on Monday instead of Sunday - Tom David
"Get off our elitist Premier Grade only threads!"
"Oh, you did. And you started your own thread?"
"How dare you do what we petulantly demanded you do?"
Give yourselves an uppercut. We are all one rugby community. Premier or Districts doesn't matter. We are all for rugby.
It was a game scheduled as a night game and "The game was abandoned due to a major power failure stopping play due to insufficient lighting to play safely" Refer to the bottom of the rugbyling link below.

It could be fun watching this thread and remembering past glory days when rugby was played by men who played for beer. Not by try hard semi-pro mercenaries who keep dropping the ball coz they have there hands out to the local clubs.
Good to see District rugby getting a better look in. half these teams have better facilities and bigger grounds than most of the top teams (where let's face it .. who is neddlands/cott/wests playing against in the grand final this year anyhow)
Prem rugby is like ground hog day and as boring as watching super 18/17/16/15 .. in fact the most excitement in super rugby is watching and betting on who is getting knobbed out . Let's all talk eachother up in the first half and wait to see who neddies buys in NZ for round 2 to push them back into the grand final. wests will beg for all their force guys .. get them and make a run. the rest ...
Get me inside a boardroom and I'll get any decision I want
Not the space to talk about what happens in the Prems rugby, please keep to championship matters/banter
Championship Rugby supporters 1 v Darkness 0.
This is why i play rugby - to play rugby, get fit, hit some people and have a beer with them afterwards.
Also, can't remember the last time we had controversy about people getting paid to play, and poaching people down at the goats. I think the last controversy was when someone did their induction in the nick.
