Seasons greetings to those on the approved list. Bah Humbug to the rest of you.
I am really a Palmyra troll.
Scrooge McDarkness.
Okay, time to get into season 2017. My tips for the finishing spots after 18 rounds:
Neddies (as is the tradition )
Soaks (thanks to their new friends at the Force)
Those bastards at Cott
Pally (close but no cigar)
Wests (too many good players have flown the coop)
Roo Dogs (the big improvers & some good pickups)
Joondalup (a few recruits but not enough)
Uni (not looking good at Mcgilivray )
Baysie (don't have the cash unfortunately)
Kala (a big pile of mud)
Lotsa back stabbing and under-hand tactics being employed by the recruiting men of some clubs at present.

Yes, and still with the same club. They must have tough hides (or no morals) or both.
Yes, and getting some good players.
Roodogs splashing the cash again?
Who are these players? They are not the only ones flashing the cash around The usual suspects have been at it for some months both grabbing from other clubs and importing so I hear.
Palmyra just did a super deal with the local Panasonic distributor.
Twelve 100cm Television sets for $7000, courtesy mostly from Southern Lions $5000 donation from their sevens tournament last Weekend.
Should see another ten or so under 20's players at training tomorrow night.
I believe Wests are the target club. Bit of dissention in the ranks there, I'm told.
Ammon is probably the most notable recruit.
Nah mate he went off to Q'Land with Prinsloo last I heard
After 2 rounds of the super u20 tournament you'd have to say the wa coaches should be sacked. Apparently a lot of discontent in the camp with the training regime and selections.
Yesterday's game was embarrassing. Someone like pugs from wests would do a significantly better job of bonding the team and delivering results.
RWA should step in and have the cleanout now so the lads can achieve their potential.
No "Forward Pass" podcast this year? They had quite a good view of what was going on via various rumours and informants. Of course, it could have all been smoke and mirrors, as both the regulars were from the same club (Neddies, IIRC)
Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
Neddies - they have managed to do what i think is the unthinkable and thank someone for there service but say you're too good, we made a mistake, please leave the foreshore so we can grab one of your mates.
Paly - the Panasonic sponsorship dollars are flowing nicely. They have good depth and a great development program through colts. Last years reserves where a class above on their day
Roodogs- i like what they where building into last season, some nice additions from what i have heard.
Cott - No real tight five of note the skipper aside, however some good talent across the park might overcome this and.. well they are cott, they tend sort something.
Wests - big loses and hard to see the same intensity but have great depth and a great culture in the Pig pen.
Baysie - quietly going about their business, i hope they are the big movers
Brother - if they can develop depth they could do anything, as the season gets longer this is a problem though.
Soaks - big changes, although with the likes of Burton and others jumping ship this might play well.
Uni - will be the Force 20's with Scoble.
Kala - tough year ahead
Trials starting this weekend, any one heading out to the games?
I might head to Uni or perhaps the beach (maybe see what all the fuss is about).
