The one thing that doesn't change is the ineptitude of the match officials each week starting around early Feb and always involving Force games and then as the June test match window nears the refs gets worse and blatantly cheat to deny the Wallabies any chance of victory.
The refs only get worse when the NRC cranks up and when that's done the Spring tours up North will only be decided by incompetent cheats.
It the same shit everytime the Wallabies, Force and Spirit lose, look at the real reasons not the easiest targets.
Wests Scarborough 1st Grade juggernaut has played finals rugby each and every year since its inception and continues this remarkable feat yet again this season and unbelievably it's still rolling on and as an added little circle jerk for the masses Wests actually hold the record for the current longest unbroken finals record.
Shit westie, when you started that I thought you were serious

I'm not a fan of Gardner, I think he referees with an arrogance that is only second to Wayne Barnes and Nigel Owens. But to blame him for players being dumber than dumb is a bit unfair.
1 yellow card is unacceptable but for a team to giveaway 4 is disgraceful.
I would either bench or drop all 4 players, whatever the coaches decide they wouldn't be in my team next week.
Another 4 cards in the Rams v Brisbane City, new line taken by authorities? Would have helped if they let the players know first rather than changing policy one week into comp!
Simon Cron: “People talk about winning and losing all the time and they are critical, but there’s a process to get into and it’s the ability to stay present, do your job and execute skills under pressure.”
Who did the work at the breakdown against the Sydney Rays?
Remember:
1. Early means 1st or 2nd of player’s team AFTER the ball carrier has been tackled and brought to ground.
2. Impact means active engagement: strong physical contact, changed shape of ruck, clean-out, protecting ball etc. (more than hand on someone’s bum or arriving after the hard work has been done). Yes it’s subjective - but as I collect all data at least it’s consistent.
3. Impact DOES NOT equate to Effectiveness. I’ve concluded that coming up with an effectiveness measure is just too hard in the time that I have available – but open to suggestions.
Ruck Involvements over Time
Comments:
- The Rays maintained the speed of their support for most of the game and generally outworked the Spirit at the breakdown. I have no turn over stats but the Rays would have been well ahead.
- Distribution of Ruck Involvements fairly even across all player groups - including Backs.
- Team lifted in the 2nd half but playing with 14 for a lot of the game took its toll.
- Front Rowers worked hard (30% of Total Ruck Involvements).
- Vui impressive with nearly a full game from a Prop. We don't see that too often.
- All Locks showed a willingness to get involved. Top involvements from Knapp in only 59 mins.
- Hardwick a toiler with 16% of Defence Ruck Involvements.
- Line Out was worked over early with 2 throws stolen plus 2 overthrows. Certainly lacking some height.
- Would like to see more ball carrying from Meakes and Havili.
Great work again Andy. Agree re Meakes - can you pinpoint a reason he's not getting more carries. He seems to get involved a lot but not the runs he should be getting. Lineouts are getting more atrocious.
