yeah - to be honest, i don't think second rowers should lead to uncontested scrums. it is not a typically hard position to play (scrum wise), but would severely weaken the scrum.
The law regarding uncontested scrum ONLY relates to whether a team can field suitably trained front row players. That the players in a scrum behind the front row aren't trained in that position is irrelevant to whether a scrum goes uncontested or not.
I expect the 4th/5th official (ie the ref who is responsible for player movements on/off the field) for that match may well receive some counselling. But they would not be expected to know whether a player named as THP can also play LHP, or vice versa.
