Hey BarraHead.
Get Mahatma to do a weekly segment on the Force when he struts his stuff on the radio.
hey barra....did you hear anything from RugbyWA about the glow sticks?
we are thinking of having a whole bay or 2 waving them next week
heard no complaints on the glow sticks ... and greg ritchie doing special comments would certainly boost the ratings
Gerry If you want give me a bag full and I will sell some to people in block 128.
Every forwards dream is to become a back...
shaun i dont think yu would b aloud to sell in the oval. proberly some rule or law about doing that.
True...give away?

Sportsears may be tough to compete with, but at $80 a straight radio comes better on the budget. Would do commentators well to keep one on or available for that little bit of extra info I would think...
Dear Lord, if you give us back Johnny Cash, we'll give you Justin Bieber.
I have had SportsEars since before the 2003 Rugby World Cup. I don't go to a Test Match without it. But........
What the commentary on SportsEars lacks is local content. This is what 6PR should work on, Telling the people of Perth how their team is going.
That Barra, can be the secret to your future success. As far as Rugby Union is concerned, particularly at the Super14 Level. 6PR can be as one eyed as they like.
Western Force has a home ground, why not a home radio station?

"Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It’s a very mean and nasty place and I don’t care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard ya hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done! Now if you know what you’re worth then go out and get what you’re worth. But ya gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers saying you ain’t where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody! Cowards do that and that ain’t you! You’re better than that!" - Rocky Balboa
yes. and give some to me hahaOriginally Posted by Shaun
Yep agree with exile - would be wonderful to have the boys talked up for a change - rather than a clinical approach - we may bag em occasionally but we are getting really excited about each of their chances - and how they are developing as players - espesically the young ones (depth for the future !)- the older ones we just want them all to become Wallabies
Not sure if you get to read other posts but here's something useful for you

Barra, I'd agree that the cost of the SportsEars and the lack of local bias are things which work in your favour. I haven't yet shelled out for the 'Ears, and I still take my little trannie to the home games to hear commentary. If the locals in the soundproof booth could give the non-'Eared folks some idea of decisions, etc, that would be great!
