Have a look at the smoke they were blowing up his arse on Twitter last night
Pocock is the very obvious choice as 7 for mine. He will be there if he stays fit. His moral/political views should have no bearing at all. He's entitled to his just as we all are to ours, in this country.
Choosing a Wallaby skipper is another matter. The ARU will not choose a potential loose cannon.

Sorry mate, I think there's a misunderstanding there, I don't compare him to Beale in the sense that you think I am. I actually think that the incidents are incomparable to each other. Which is why I have no real problem with Pocock, just some concerns in the back of my mind; but I still have a few issues with Beale.

Japan and the Pacific Islands for Aussie Super 9's!
Let's have one of these in WA! Click this link: Saitama Super Arena - New Perth Stadium?
Perhaps I have a far fetched or whimsical expectations of the Wallabies but I ask that you all ask yourself this.
Would Nick Farr-Jones go out of his way to get himself arrested?
Would John Eales go out of his way to get himself arrested?
Would George Gregan go out of his way to get himself arrested?
Would Nathan Sharpe go out of his way to get himself arrested?

"Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It’s a very mean and nasty place and I don’t care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard ya hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done! Now if you know what you’re worth then go out and get what you’re worth. But ya gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers saying you ain’t where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody! Cowards do that and that ain’t you! You’re better than that!" - Rocky Balboa
Oh! Shots fired across the bow!!!
This dead horse is copping a beating....
Pocock is very strong on the ball and a great pilferer. The wallabies have really missed this aspect in the last 2 years. Hooper does bring incredible pace and line brwaking ability. He would be a sensation off the bench. I have been massively impressed with Liam Gill. Official stats have him ahead in turnovers. His pick and go from the ruck has also been impressive. He has been a shining light in a Reds disaster.

Numbers updated after Round 14.
Not surprisingly as Liam Gill has played >2 games more than Pocock.
Liam Gill has 22 TOW (1st in SXV) from 864 minutes played in 2015 - 2.0 TOW per 80 minutes played.
David Pocock has 19 TOW (2nd in SXV) from only 676 minutes played in 2015 - 2.2 TOW per 80 minutes played.
Michael Hooper has only 7 TOW (Equal 13th in SXV) from 948 minutes played in 2015 - 0.6 TOW per 80 minutes played.
Just realised that I had ruck stats for Hodgo's first game back.
Table updated for comparison.

Will gather some more data following the Reds game!
Saw an article today where it said that Clive Woodward describes Hooper as a "hybrid centre". Hell to the yes on that one!!
