I think our main problem is not having Hoddgo out on the pitch! He energises, galvanises and instils a sence of belief which is sorely lacking atm.
The Kyle Pek episode just wouldn't have happened with Hoddgo out there. He handles the refs well and normally gets them around to his way of thinking (bar wee Angus). I'm not sure if he can sort out our scrum problems atm as that really does look as though it's technical. He encourages and developers 2 and 3 man pods and is constantly on the look out to chance after and get in the shoulder of the ball carrier.
The sooner he's back the better. I just hope he's not considering retiring for the next few years!😉

Even from the Andrews stats - Sam still gives the impression that he's not really achieving much, maybe it's just the way it appears. But when he gets the ball he always seems to cut back centre into the traffic and bury his head in the ground rather than trucking it hard forward.

Yes, Fox Sports adding Wykes to the TOW is the final nail in their coffin as far as i'm concerned. Would love to see the differential between rucks hit & rucks hit effectively. Even my 150kg frame can amble around a 100x50m stretch of turf and make fleeting physical contact with 10-15 over 80 mins.
