Kurtley Beale has ended months of speculation by re-signing with the NSW Waratahs and Australian Rugby Union for another year.
The retention is a huge boost for Waratahs and Wallabies coach Michael Cheika, who will have the star playmaker available for the 2015 Rugby World Cup in Britain.

80 Minutes, 15 Positions, No Protection, Wanna Ruck?
Ruck Me, Maul Me, Make Me Scrum!
Education is Important, but Rugby is Importanter!
My thoughts are with Ms Patston and Mr Mckenzie.
Another blow to common decency by the ARU.
Simon Cron: “People talk about winning and losing all the time and they are critical, but there’s a process to get into and it’s the ability to stay present, do your job and execute skills under pressure.”
Come on Tazz, did you really expect anything different?
I feel for Bernard Foley and Matt Toomua, probably the best 10-12 pairing the country can field at the moment and one of them is going to be forced to defend their position against this talentless prima Donna.

I wasn't speculating. I was hoping...
Shame he re-signed.
Hope will be a fruitless emotion with the current ARU. We need to wait for the entire organisation to be overhauled, that will probably take it falling on it's ass and being pulled out of the shit by the federal government.
I fear it's going to get worse before it gets better.

If the three amigos ( Cooper, O'Connor and Beale) stay out of the media, work their combined tails off and contribute to a third world cup for us, then in 12 months time they can pursue whatever dreams with the full support of and admiration of us sceptics. C'mon boys it's only 10 months and then you can revert to, change to or move to any activity, location or behaviour for the rest of your lives....
I'd throw Giteau into that mix too, though I'm sure that'll make me a bit unpopular!![]()

Let's have one of these in WA! Click this link: Saitama Super Arena - New Perth Stadium?
Good to see someone commit to Aussie Rugby post World Cup.
He is only committing for 12 months

I think ARU would have been better off throwing money at the players committing past 2015 than focusing on all the 1 yr wonders and just see what happens at the world cup with the players who want to be here for Australian Rugby not just their chance to play in world cup
No, more like the equitable structure that the ARU were required to implement being more than just a paper exercise.
Probably a fair bit of not raping the community game to fund the professional game and a high likelihood that the closed shop of private school weenies being picked for the wallabies being dismantled.
In short, throw the entire organisation out and start again.
